Jackie S. grew up in Southern California and calls the beach and longboard her home. She loves to pull out her laptop and continue working on her novel-in-the-works, slip on some comfy socks and read a good book, or head to the kitchen with an appetite and recipe in mind.

She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Literary Journalism, or creative nonfiction writing and has edited for several different magazines, marketing companies, and restaurants. She has also written and edited many stories, articles, papers, and blog posts.
