With ten years of experience as an English teacher comes the knowledge and expertise necessary to be a skillful editor. During her undergraduate studies, she majored in English and education. She had to demonstrate the skills necessary to excel in her English classes: researching, writing, editing and publishing. Additionally, her education coursework required her to learn how to teach these skills to others. An effective editor will make revisions to the fundamentals of a piece without compromising the author's voice. This process requires finesse and a command of the English language.
