Kim is a quilter. She specializes in making baby quilts for friends and family members. Additionally, she loves to cook.
Kim frequently writes and edits informational articles, email copy and testing reports for her full-time job. Her audiences include parents, other teachers, administration and other stakeholders.
Kim completed a project for a Writer Access client that required her to call survivors of breast cancer to ask about their experience using a product. She made personal connections with each woman and heard their stories. Then she compiled their stories into an article that sang the praises of the product. The client was very pleased with her work.
As the grade team leader, Kim is often responsible for writing and editing email copy. She gathers information from all parties involved and synthesizes it into an easy-to-read format in order to deliver a cohesive message on behalf of the team.
