Victoria's specialties include composition studies and posthuman studies. She is well-versed in the rules of the English language and understands when certain rules apply. She is aware of the changing times (including the shift to accept the singular they in academic work as well as what formats use the Oxford comma) and keeps up-to-date on the trends in writing.
Victoria is especially interested in editing novels as she has spent over a decade studying literature; however, she is happy to help with any editing.
Victoria served as the Prose (Fiction) editor for the 2016 edition of The Mayo Review and as Editor-in-Chief for the 2017 edition of The Mayo Review.
