Rachel worked at West Innovation Center for three years as their Industrial and Graphic designer. Her responsibilities at West included running their 3D printers, creating content for User Studies, designing Adobe UX app interfaces for studies, ideating concepts for new or existing designs, building Prezi/Power Point presentations, and other graphic design posters. During her time at West, she followed her manager’s suggestion to go back to school for an Industrial Design degree as she worked as WIC’s temp designer.

While in school at Kean University, she found a passion for designing aesthetically beautiful furniture pieces. Rachel was awarded first and second place in Formica’s Student Furniture Competition and designed an innovative desk design for the ICFF show in New York City.

Proceeding her graduation and years at West, she began full time employment at CSS Industries as their Industrial Designer. Her responsibilities at CSS/DG included running their 3D printers, ideating concepts for new or existing designs, directing production artists in understanding designs and communicate designs to factory.

Rachel is always looking for new opportunities that will advance my skills and knowledge in my career.
