Content Marketing Manager

WriterAccess, an award winning software platform connecting thousands of businesses with professional writers, editors, translators and content strategists, is seeking a Content Marketing Manager for our Boston office. The Gig In a Nutshell

You’ll be responsible for creating a steady stream of high quality content, all powered by WriterAccess writers that look to you for the ideas for topics, keywords for optimization and content tone and style that will engages readers and fans, and keeps them coming back for more.  In addition to managing a pool of freelance writers you hand-select, you’ll also recruit and manage guest bloggers, webinar and podcast guests, and content partners we team up on content projects designed to drive leads and grow sales. This is an amazing opportunity to work with hundreds of content marketing thought leaders that speak at our annual Content Marketing Conference.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the WriterAccess blog and multiple social channels
  • Optimizing all content to appeal to readers and the search engines
  • Recruiting guests and hosts for the blog, webinars and podcasts
  • Curating content marketing stories and articles to reference and support
  • Developing one more more longer form content assets each quarter
  • Help craft lead nurturing programs and drip communications featuring quality content
  • Track and report on key performance indicators 

What We Want

  • 2 to 5+ years of content marketing experience
  • Digital/Email marketing experience 
  • Portfolio of content marketing campaigns
  • Content strategy and/or inbound marketing certification a big plus
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms a big plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Enthusiastic, creative and committed
  • Self-directed, motivated and proactive
