WriterAccess, an award-winning software platform connecting thousands of businesses with professional writers, editors, translators and content strategists, is seeking a Community Manager to shepherd our online community of 15,000+ freelance talent that connect with 25,000+ customers in our platform.

The Job In a Nutshell

You’ll focus much of your time managing and communicating with the 15,000+ freelancers in our pool of talent, including writers, editors, content strategists and influencers. You’ll also help us grow a new pool of in Canada, UK, Australia and more. Making sure our talent are in tune with the latest platform enhancements, software developments and best practices will be a top priority. You'll offer training and development in multiple formats, including video, guides, podcasts and webinars.

Writer Management

  • I Screen new writers by reviewing samples and experience
  • II Review test results, work experience and profiles
  • III Assign initial Star Rating of writers based on judgement
  • IV Help match writers with customers
  • V Manage writers Help Tickets and project challenges
  • VI Terminate writers that do not meet our high standards
  • VII Reward writers with recognition and swag

Community Management

  • Posting fresh insights and updates
  • Hosting webinars and podcasts
  • Crafting ads and campaigns to recruit talent
  • Boosting engagement, followers and fans

Writer Promotion

  • Learning customer skill needs and project goals
  • Recruiting talent for projects
  • Promoting talent skill and expertise to customers
  • Helping to improve the matchmaking process

What We Want

  • Super strong editing skills
  • 1 to 5 years of freelancer management experience
