Dana began working at a large pharmaceutical company in Cambridge, MA in the mid 1990s. She learned the ins and outs of the corporate world while starting in Accounts Payable and Purchasing, dealing with the many tribulations that fall within that realm when certain parameters don't have consistency. Dana was charged with creating Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) because she had a vision of how the operation could run more securely and efficiently. She was subsequently promoted to Treasury Analyst, working directly under the company's CFO and then she moved up to become the corporate Risk Manager, entrusted with privileged corporate information to ensure the safety and well-being of the corporation.
After deciding to start a family, Dana took a corporate break for a few years and had a short stint as a Forensic Analyst for a small accounting firm. Dana thoroughly enjoyed the diligence involved in this work. The national economic status, however, meant that Dana would be laid off and would have to find another path.
Dana spent a great deal of time with her wonderful children in their early years. While being away from her corporate life, Dana decided to start an online endeavor of crocheting hats and crafting tutu's for sale online. She was quite successful and enjoyed the extra time with her children.
Now that Dana's children are engaged in school activities, Dana has engaged in the corporate world once again. She is now an active member of the National Association of Realtors, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, she is a member of the Kent/Washington Board of Realtors and she is engaged in the brokerage of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
Dana is loving her days of investigating properties, meeting new clients, and basically learning all there is to know about South County, Rhode Island!
