RebeccaM is an educator and has experience teaching at every grade level in both general education and special education. After teaching elementary school for several years she returned to school and earned a Master's Degree in learning disabilities in 2001. Working on her Master's Degree gave RebeccaM the opportunity to sharpen her writing skills as she was required to write in the APA style. She wrote numerous research papers. This gave her the opportunity to acquire great research skills by searching for information both online and in professional books and journals. She learned how to summarize and paraphrase material and how to cite sources correctly. She learned techniques to help her avoid plagiarism.
RebeccaM has always had a passion for writing and earned several honors during high school. She was the editor of the school newspaper, debate winner and claimed the Senior Poetry Award. She would like to pursue a career with freelance writing upon retirement. She has been writing for a popular revenue share site for the past year. One of her articles was featured on the site's homepage. Two of her articles were nominated for a special "newbie writer" award, one of which won the nomination. She was one of thirty writers selected from over two hundred thousand to participate in a beta group of apprentices. She has almost completed the apprenticeship program successfully. Through this program she has learned a lot about online writing including seo techniques such as writing search friendly titles, including keywords in content with out "stuffing", long tailed keywords and more. She has two more months remaining for this special apprenticeship program and is looking forward to learning even more. Rebecca writes fresh, original content and has excellent grammar and mechanics skills.
