Heather has enjoyed writing for most of her life. As a child she wrote fiction stories (mainly science fiction) as well as narrative journals of her life experiences. Into college she spent many evenings writing encouraging notes and letters to people who were struggling, including leading a ministry on campus known as Barnabus, which anonomously sent encouragment to people whose names were submitted through a mail box. As a Biology major, she worked as an intern for 3 local companies (different summers) and wrote project reports and presentation material for the assigned projects. After College, Heather worked in agricultural research at Cornell University, and throughout the seven years she was there, she was a contributing author on five scientific articles published in peer reviewed journals, as well as primary researcher and author on one article, also published in a peer reviewed journal. Additionally she wrote training material for new lab members and undergraduate students, as well as internal progress reports on a regular basis. Heather also researched and created step by step protocols for a wide range of laboratory and technical procedures. After leaving Cornell to raise two children with special needs, she has spent time researching, reading, and have begun to write articles relating to self-help, spirituality, and insights on life. Heather can offer a range of writing services based on my background and interests, from technical data, research summaries and analytical breakdowns, to perception and spirtuality based ideas. Through her time writing online, she has become savvy in SEO and writing both short and long topic specific articles in a wide range of subjects.
