Mary is a high school social studies teacher with 30+ years of experience in the classroom. She holds a Master's degree in history with an emphasis in U.S. foreign relations. She wrote a thesis entitled "Two Conceptions of Destiny - The Congressional Debate Over Hawaiian Annexation" for this degree. This writing task required a detailed examination of the U.S. Congressional Record circa 1893-1898, a written manuscript of 130 pages, and a successful oral defense. Mary has also earned specialized certifications to teach students with special education needs, including those with behavioral/emotional disabilities and learning disabilities. Recently, Mary graduated from Concordia University with an M.S. in Counseling Foundations - Professional Counseling. She is currently enrolled in a hypnotherapy training program through the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. Mary has a passion and a flair for learning and for all types of writing. Her researching, writing, proofreading and editing skills are excellent.
