John S. initially discovered blogging was more than just a hobby when he was hired to write about online strategy video games while attending college. His diverse class selections included courses on writing, programming, and web design, so it was an easy fit. From there, he developed his marketing skills at GMR marketing while paying the bills as a bartender in the restaurant industry. He has worked for large corporations like Cumulus Media, where he created and managed content for 5 different radio stations, including daily blog posts, weekly promotional emails, and even wrote advertisements read on-air by the talent. He has also worked for smaller, more targeted marketing agencies like Storkey Media based out of London. There he wrote blogs and ebooks for companies in diverse industries, including law firms, accounting, construction, and custom software programming.
