Jodi Uhron graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. She completed a public relations internship with the former Johnstown Johnnies baseball club of the Frontier League and wrote for the IUP newspaper, The Penn, as a staff writer while attending IUP. In addition to collegiate writing experience, Jodi wrote a children's book titled "Sydney & Me," which was published by RoseDog Books in 2014. She also writes a blog related to the book giving children and parents tips about child-dog safety as well as interactions between children and dogs. In addition to writing, she attended classes on web site design and designed the web site for "Sydney & Me" at www.jodi-uhrontheweb.com. "Sydney & Me" was inspired by the relationship between Jodi's young daughter and dog telling the story from her daughter's perspective of the relationship between the child and family dog as well as encouraging safe interactions for children and dogs and completing simple dog-care chores. The book describes how sibling-like the relationship between a child and dog can be.
