Need a rocket scientist turned writer? This is your girl! Jacqueline had a great career at NASA/Lockheed Martin (Johnson Space Center in Houston) where she served as the technical lead for the Life Sciences Data Archive, a data repository of NASA's space life sciences research data. Her responsibilities included overseeing and directing all technical aspects for the repository, including writing and editing website content of lsda.jsc.nasa.gov, and writing many technical presentations. She is well-versed in scientific research and is a published author in scientific journals. She left NASA in October 2013 to spend more time with her sons and to serve as co-director of the Just About Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization teaching business and entrepreneurial skills to high school students. In October 2014, she started as a freelance writer for her local newspaper, The Tribune, which has a 60,000+ paper circulation serving the northeast Houston suburban area. She left the Foundation in May 2015 because she was ready for a new, exciting challenge, and is currently seeking to significantly expand her writing career.
