Robin grew up in Fort Worth Texas in the 1970's and loved to keep a diary as a kid. In high school , she began writing parodies with her group of theatre friends. At the time, she didn't realize that she was finding her voice , it felt like playing around SNL style. She was a John Hughes era teen and counts that as producing some of her greatest material. She toured as an actor in the early 90's before moving to NYC and wrote to the producer of the Academy Awards that year and offered to host, since they were having trouble finding a willing one. He wrote her back. You can say her work is based in humor. A short memoir entitled "Doing Time in A Mini-Van" came as a result of the tour and a few plays followed, always based on her current environment, a Dallas diner, a NYC corporate office. Having a theatre background, she found herself seeing everything in the play form. Working in Dallas, New York, and L.A., sometimes as an actor, alot of temping, she wrote when she wanted to escape. It wasn't until her late 30's, fully settled into her life in Tennessee, that she believed that she could be a professional writer. Robin loves to write fiction, has found her voice in drama and looks forward to attending some great writer's conferences in 2016. She's written a middle grade novel and short story that live on Kindle, The Chronicles of Mila Dasher, Volume 1: Butterfly, and Delbert and Iris, a travel book about Nashville, as well as two plays, a completed television pilot called Teachers and many humorous blog posts dedicated to her photography work and motherhood.

She is looking forward to working as a freelance writer during what she calls the lightening round of her family's life. They have recently moved from Nashville, TN to Cincinnati Ohio where she lives and writes with her husband, three daughters, a pitbull, a pug, a geriatric retriever, and a porch cat named Amy.
