Holly's passion for writing became evident in her youth, and it was not unusual for her mother to find her scribbling in a notebook many hours after bedtime. As a teenager, Holly wrote a weekly column for her local newspaper based on information obtained from polling classrooms of her peers on a variety of subjects.
At 16, Holly began documenting her experiences as a teen mother involved in a tumultuous relationship. She plans to publish this work in the future.
While obtaining a psychology degree, Holly became skilled in conducting content analyses and documenting statistical findings. Her experience in law enforcement positions required her to become proficient in the completion of legal reports and court documents. Perhaps most notably, Holly became well-known in the district courtrooms of Montana for her ability to conduct thorough interviews with felony offenders who were awaiting sentencing for their crimes. She then combined information regarding an offender's childhood, family background, significant life events, substance abuse issues, criminal background information and mental health factors with her statistical analysis of sentences imposed in the State of Montana for offenders who had committed similar crimes. Holly's findings were then utilized by the court in determining offenders' sentences.
Holly has completed numerous articles for products and services as a freelance writer. In addition to countless websites, her work has been published in "Signature Montana Magazine" and will soon be featured in "Distinctly Montana Magazine."
Holly enjoys researching and organizing travel adventures and plans to further pursue publication of articles focusing such exploration.
