Writing was always a strength of David's growing up. After graduating from Syracuse University, he put the many writing styles he had learned to use in entertainment marketing in production. David spent several successful years of working in the entertainment industry before returning to school in order to acquire his MS Ed degrees in General Childhood Education as well as Literacy. For his thesis project, he wrote and illustrated a children's book intended as a tool for bibliotherapy. Titled Mom, Dad, and Everyone Else, the need for a story that focused on the potential positive outcomes of divorce was clear, and the book was ultimately published. In addition to his experience as a teacher, literacy specialist, and assessment specialist, David is a freelance writer/editor and has contributed to many blogs and outlets focusing on the topics of education, entertainment, and family.
