Michael is a fairly versatile writer, comfortable with familiarizing himself on any topic and writing at any length. His best topics would be sports, food/restaurants, and the outdoors.
Michael has a variety of interests and hobbies. His latest personal endeavor has been long-distance running, as he finished the Boston Marathon in a personal best 5:04:35 in April 2015. He is also a mountain biker, kayaker, and regularly goes camping with his family. In his time at home, he enjoys watching baseball, football (both college and professional), and ice hockey. A fan of Disney movies, Michael lists "Robin Hood" as his favorite among the classics, "The Lion King" from the Disney Renaissance, and "Tangled" from the Disney Revival.
Michael studied in the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH (now the Paul College of Business and Economics), graduating Cum Laude in 2008. During his time there he undertook several writing intensive courses, in such subjects as philosophy, psychology, and art history. He also worked at the Dimond Library, where he would often spend his time off-duty as well.
Michael has written extensively on sports, with a particular passion for football, baseball, and ice hockey. Capable of writing in AP format, or free-form columns.
Michael has written numerous business papers, varying in topic from economic theory to effective management styles.
Michael has a bit more limited experience writing regarding politics, as he tries to avoid controversy. However, when he does have a strong opinion, he isn't necessarily afraid to share it and make comments on the topics of the day.

In his time, Michael hasn't written too many speeches, but his most memorable performance came at his best friend's wedding when his Best Man's speech brought people to tears.
