After graduating from Seton Hall University with a degree in journalism, Joe joined startup mutual fund trade publication 929 Media. Based in Stamford, CT, he breaks industry-relevant news and provides insight into the $16 trillion wealth management universe.
He previously served as the mobile reviews editor for the Indie Game Magazine, a print publication covering the independent video game and technology development industries. There he assigned product review projects and mentored his team to develop them into grade-A reporters. He also produced original editorial and breaking news pieces on a regular basis.
Joe's other writing experience includes a freelance newswriting position with the Alternative Press of South Orange, a hyperlocal news website catering to New Jersey communities. Throughout his tenure with the Alternative Press he specialized in covering local government and municipal court proceedings, as well as covering breaking community news stories.
Joe has also worked training students on the elementary to post-graduate levels as a writing and reporting tutor with Tutor.com.
Prior to earning his degree, Joe held reporting internship positions with both the Alternative Press of South Orange and the Fairfield County Catholic, a print newspaper covering events of interest to the Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport, CT.
