Aaron has extensive experience in sports writing, working as a sports writer before becoming a sports editor at multiple Ohio newspapers. In addition to writing for newspapers, Aaron wrote two non-fiction books about sports. His first, a biography of Marc Edwards, centered on a football star who overcame multiple obstacles to play football at Notre Dame and ultimately with the New England Patriots where he won a Super Bowl. Aaron's second book is a glimpse into the mental and psychological benefits gained from playing basketball weekly with a group of friends. The book centers on a group of men in Cincinnati who have been playing basketball together every Thursday night for the past thirty years.
